LG Electronics India is an affiliate of the South Korean LG Group which produces electronic products. The previous company name was Lucky Goldstar. Before changing their name, many electronic products were sold under the brand name Goldstar, while some other household products (not available outside Korea) were sold under the brand name of Lucky.

LG mobiles India entered the domestic market very recently. Its mobile phones, though are behind those of Nokia and Sony Ericsson, are becoming popular since they are cheap but offer great functions. LG has succeeded in CDMA phones that are available with Reliance but in GSM, success is not yet achieved by LG.

The latest range of LG phones includes B2000, B2050, B2070, C2500, G1610, S5000, M4410, P7200 and KG800. The B series is the series of basic phones with colour screens, polyphonic ringtones etc. The C2500 has a VGA camera. The S5000 has a 1.3 Mega Pixel Camera, Bluetooth, Speaker Phone, 1000 Phone Book Memory, GPRS, MMS and Java.

The M4410 features 1.3 Mega Pixel Camera, Bluetooth, MP3 Player and Ringtones, External Memory Card, EDGE. The P7200 is an advanced model featuring a 2 Mega Pixel Camera, Unlimited Video Recording, Bluetooth, MP3 Player and Ringtones, External Memory Card. The KG800 is the latest launch of LG with 1.3 Mega Pixel Camera with Video Recording, Bluetooth Enabled, MP3 Player and Ringtones.
